Abstract
The article examines the evolution of Washington's policy in the South Caucasus. It analyzes the current situation in each of the three South Caucasian countries – Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia – taking into account their desire to pursue national policy and sovereign development in a multipolar world. The reasons for the intensification of American policy in the region, as well as the pros and cons along the way to its implementation, are identified. At the same time, U.S. policy towards the South Caucasus, despite a number of existing disagreements, will maintain its continuity due to the geographical and geopolitical significance of the region. This goes strongly in line with the policy of the new Trump administration, for which business is above all else.
