- Abstract
- The article looks at the trilateral cooperation summit between the U.S., Japan, and South Korea at Camp-David in August of 2023 which brought about the unprecedented expansion and institutionalization of cooperation in the areas of politics, security, economic, and technology, against the backdrop of their relations with China. It analyzes the agreements reached in Camp-David, the transformation of their bilateral relationships with China during President Xi Jinping’s tenure, the reasons for stepping-up trilateral cooperation, as well as the obstacles on this way.
