Аннотация
В настоящей статье анализируются итоги и ход президентской кампании 2024 года, в рамках которой Республиканской партии и её кандидату, 45-му президенту США Д. Трампу удалось сформировать круг основных политических и социально-экономических проблем, которые определили фокус их противостояния с действующей демократической администрацией Дж. Байдена – К. Харрис. Эти проблемы были сконцентрированы вокруг результатов деятельности администрации во внутренней и внешней политике США за четыре года пребывания демократов у власти, такие как экономика, незаконная иммиграция, энергетика, внешняя политика, ряд других сфер. Американские избиратели в целом достаточно негативно оценили эффективность пребывания у власти политиков Демократической партии, что вылилось не только в потерю контроля над Белым домом, но и над Сенатом США. В совокупности с сохранением контроля над Палатой представителей и существующим перевесом в расстановке сил в губернаторском корпусе это позволяет говорить о состоявшейся «красной волне». Д. Трамп получил весомый мандат для проведения фундаментальных преобразований в федеральном правительстве и в американском обществе, опираясь на который он и его ближайшее окружение в предстоящие годы надеются провести консервативную революцию, которая по своим последствиям будет иметь такое же значение для США как и Американская революция 1765–1783 годов.
