- Abstract
- In Canada as well as in many other countries around the world, public-private partnerships (PPPs, P3s) are now perceived to be the most efficient and cost-effective way of building modern infrastructure and providing a wide range of public goods and services. The article looks at the conceptual base and practical aspects of the use of PPPs in Canada. Analyzing Canadian experiences, both positive and negative, is of growing importance as PPPs have recently become a new area of the Russian-Canadian economic co-operation.
