Abstract
The article argues that in the context of financial globalization sovereign states were substantially depending on the global financial intermediaries which causes further development of crisis processes of the global economy. Resolution of this problem lies in reforming the international financial system which can not successfully proceed without large-scale definancialization of economic activities through redirecting financial resources from the virtual to the real economy.
