- Abstract
- Historic examples and precedents of using military spending as the main engine for overcoming the economic crises as well as the basic points of the theory of gradual American involvement in the First World War under President W. Wilson outlined in the mid-1930s by famous American historian Ch. Beard are analyzed. The author’s general conclusion is that during the present global financial crisis the American political elite is facing the Wilson’s dilemmas.
