- Abstract
- The essay scrutinizes NATO’s partnership policy. Main trends in the current evolution of the USA and the Alliance attitudes towards security and defense cooperation with various sorts of partners are thoroughly analyzed. The author has attempted to determine to what extent NATO’s partnership steering is guided by a long-term strategy or rather it is moving by a reaction to unexpected international events.
