Abstract
The United States and eight countries of the Asia-Pacific region are engaged in the negotiations which would lead to the emergence of a new trade grouping – the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). This paper examines the U.S. approaches to the TPP’s formation within the context of establishing a new international architecture in the Asia-Pacific.
