- Global recession has emphasized the key questions regarding de-globalization and de-dollarization of the world system. A comparative economic analysis of the U.S. and China indicates that the U.S. remains the global hegemon in the field of technologies, markets, investments, currency, and military sphere, so there is no real alternative to the power of this country.
