- Abstract
- The article examines the key issues related to the implementation of the INF Treaty that has been signed 30 years ago between the USSR and the USA. It describes in detail the Washington's stance and arguments which has been for many times blaming Russia of its "violation" by deployment of three land-based ballistic missiles and one ground-launched cruise missile. The article explains the Russian position which believes that it does not breach the treaty. The author outlines the reasons used by Washington in denouncing Moscow for its "noncompliance" with the 1987 arrangement during test flights of the U.S. BMDS, and offers his predicament for a possibility of its violation by the USA in the future.
