- Abstract
- In this article the author tries to explain why during 2014 a drastic, and most threatening aggravation of Russian-American relations since the end of cold war has occurred. The role of presidential personality, traditional American foreign policy mentality and mass media impact has been also analyzed. Concurrently there are major spheres of mutual interests and cooperation between the USA and Russia.
