- Abstract
- The article deals with the transformation of US nuclear policy within NATO. The author assesses the role of tactical nuclear weapons in U.S. and NATO strategic plans, the prospects of its modernization, and argues the possibility of its withdrawal from Europe. Thus the problem in question is analyzed in the context of the current issues of European security, and evaluated from the viewpoint of Russian interests
