- Abstract
- The article is devoted to analysis of the process of an adaptation of the American-Japanese military-political alliance to contemporary events, connected to the reorganization of the global and regional (in the Asia-Pacific region) system of the international relations. Special attention is paid to the examination of the politico-philosophical views of the prime-minister of Japan Abe Sinzo and to the study of the reaction of the United States to the innovations of Japan in its foreign policy and in realization of the course to guarantee the right of Japan for collective self-defense. Under consideration are the perspectives of the Japanese-Chinese and Japanese-Russian relations in the context of the new tendencies of the development in American-Japanese relations.
