- Abstract
- In the article a complex comparative analysis of the peculiarities of the pivotal officials' positions in the U.S. president Donald Trump's foreign policy staff and their views on the acute international problems was conducted taking into account the complicated relationship between the president and Washington elite and, as a result, high staff turnover. The power configuration and the main problems in the relationship between "old" and "new" elite were shown. The conclusions about the prospects of president staff were made and a possibility of resuming more positive U.S.-Russia relations was evaluated in the paper.
