- Abstract
- The article analyzes the book "Untold history of the USA" of the world-known movie director Oliver Stone and historian Peter Kuznick which made a noise both in the USA, and in Russia. Both in the USA, and in Russia the book received admirers and critics. Critics who in the USA were majority, and in Russia minority declared this historical composition falsification. And admirers recognized the book as revelation about true character of the American history. In the author's opinion, the professional analysis of the book opening its different sides, both strong and weak, and especially those of them which dropped out of a field of vision of critics and admirers is useful.
