Abstract
Based on U.S. reshoring data there was formulated a hypothesis on the implementation of an active industrial policy in some states in 2010-2014. The analysis of manufacturing programs in the top 15 states allowed to confirm the hypothesis and to identify successful states, as well as their characteristic priorities, institutional forms and financial instruments of industrial support.
