- Abstract
- The study deals with the scholarly discussion about theoretical issues related to the character of the Macedonian liberation movement in the late nineteenth and first third of the twentieth centuries. The authors suggest their own answer to the question of the essence of this movement: whether it was a manifestation of the BulgarianMacedonian irredentism, or Macedonian political separatism.
