Abstract
The review of English publications on J. Greenberg's, T. Pyszczynski's and S. Solomon's Terror Management Theory (TMT) is presented. Theoretical backgrounds and proposition of TMT are described; main hypothesis, experimental methodology, empirical data and conclusions are summarized. Five main lines of TMT's criticism are analyzed.
