Abstract
A number of B.F. Venda's with co-authors' article's items, notably statement about priority of its authors and Soviet science in developing of fundamental methods of psychological assessment and informational techniques designing, as well as the description of modern status of usability - engineering as a discipline which is characterized by subjectivism and poorly relies on scientific grounds of contemporary psychology and ergonomics are disputed.
