Abstract
Some problems raised in the article by A.L. Zhuravlev, Т.А. Nestik and A.V. Yurevich (2016) onthe forecast of the development of psychological science and the discussion presented in the pages of thePsychological Journal. The necessity of the development of Russian science in the context of the world, whichpreserves its cultural specificity, is argued. It is shown that the challenges of the technogenic evolution area continuation of the development of mankind and require further psychological study. The forecasts of thedevelopment of psychology presented by the authors of the work under discussion and the forecasts of foreignleading scientists about the development of science in the next fifty years are compared.
