Abstract

The results of the world sociological Congress 2010 are evidence of the need to reconstruct the West-centric paradigm of the sociological mainstream. Under these conditions, Russia has an intellectual chance to present relevant theoretical developments to the world community of sociologists. From this point of view, cooperation with sociologists from the BRIC countries is very relevant.
