- Abstract
- The article analyzes the key trends and problems of social development in post-Soviet Russia. The article considers the factors that influence public administration in solving the problems of Russian society: peculiarities of mentality, experience of social development in the post-Soviet period, low level of development of civil society. It is noted that in the understanding of Russians, democracy is the provision of social justice guaranteed by the strong state. It is emphasized that the effectiveness of public administration depends on the quality of interaction between the state and society, the link of which should be the sociological science. In this regard, it is proposed to increase the role of sociological knowledge at all stages of the legislative process.
