- Abstract
- The author reflects on the possibility of applying the "intersection theory»1 to study the problems of childhood. An analogy is drawn with the use of this concept in research on feminism and the possibilities of its application in the sociology of childhood are discussed. The author refers to the position of Y. Quortrup on the problem of "intersection theory" in relation to childhood. Such a review will not only describe "multiple childhoods" – life worlds, identities, and experiences-but also provide a causal analysis of modern childhood.
