- Abstract
- The article discusses the measures taken by the PRC leadership to bring into China foreign scholars and skilled professionals of Chinese origin in order to reduce the deficit of skilled personnel on the labor market. The author identifies a number of problems faced by Chinese re-emigrants at home. The paper carries out a comparative analysis of Chinese and Russian experience in attracting labor from among the compatriots living abroad. The author concludes that the Chinese experience in this field is partly useful for Russia.
