Abstract
Analyzing the situation on the Korean Peninsula in 2010, the author, describing his version of events, finds that the sharp rise in tensions in the area had been caused mainly by South Korea and the US that support solving of nuclear and other problems of the Korean Penisula by means of the elimination of the DPRK as a sovereign state. The author believes that the reasons for worsening conflict in Korea could not be understood outside the context of the development of very contradictory relations between China and the US - main sponsors and allies of the two Koreas.
