Abstract: In the Centre for Iberian studies of the Institute of Latin America of Russian Academy of Sciences has been held a round-table discussion on "Spain in the background of the crisis: economic changes and political consequences". Timeliness of this matter consists in the fact that Spanish economy like the Russian one turned out among the number of worst hit economies during the period of recent world financial disturbances. Thereinafter we offer to the reader's attention the participants speeches exposition.
