- Abstract
- The article is dedicated to the actual condition of the relationships between Japan and Brazil. In 2008 the countries celebrated the centenary of the Japanese immigration to Brazil which caused 1.5 millions of Japanese descendents living in this country (that is the biggest Japanese diaspora outside Japan). The author examines main spheres of economic cooperation, major joint projects as well as analyses the positive impact of the events of the 2008 ("Japan-Brazil Year of Exchange") at the rates of economic cooperation.
