Аннотация
Статья посвящена особенностям отношений Вашингтона и Манагуа в XXI веке с момента возвращения к власти в Никарагуа санднинстов. В работе рассмотрены ключевые этапы эволюции двустороннего взаимодействия стран в текущем столетии. Особое внимание уделяется периоду администрации Дж. Байдена (2021–2025) в США. В диалоге государств прослеживается устойчивая политическая и идеологическая конфронтация, обуславливающая санкционную политику Белого дома в отношении правительства Д. Ортеги. В исследовании подчёркивается экономическая составляющая этого взаимодействия, серьёзно ограничивающая возможности Вашингтона по давлению на Манагуа, так как оно несёт в себе потенциальные риски для самих Соединённых Штатов.
