- Abstract
- The article reveals the key features of the 2024 presidential election. It finds that there was a red wave caused by a large shift of Hispanic voters towards the Republican Party, not only in states where it has been seen previously but also in many other key, swing states, and even blue states. The red wave largely secured the victory of D. Trump and the Republicans in the U.S. Congress. However, the red wave was not caused only by the growth of support for D. Trump among Hispanics. There are far deeper transformations in their political views taking place in the US.
