- Статья посвящена возросшей роли Индии в рамках двусторонних отношений с США. В первой части отражена эволюция американо-индийских отношений в сторону сближения и установления стратегического партнёрства с 1990-х годов по настоящее время. Далее рассматривается место Индии в концепции Свободного и открытого ИндоТихоокеанского региона (СОИТР) и многосторонних группах, созданных под руководством США, таких как Четырёхсторонний диалог по безопасности (ЧСДБ). В завершение авторы рассуждают о перспективах повышения статуса Индии и препятствиях на пути к формированию полноценного военно-политического альянса.
