Abstract

The article is devoted to a comparative study of the approaches toward Russia of the think tanks of the two major political parties of the United States. The author suggests that despite similar perception of contemporary Russia as an authoritarian regime by both liberal as well as conservative think tanks. The Democrats are noticeably more pragmatic and realistic.
