Abstract
The article reveals the key information tools of Russian-American interaction. A new round of bilateral rivalry has been started with the emerging of noticeable deterioration in Russian-American relations. The key factor in this confrontation is a set of tools of information impact through the Internet and the media. The article presents analysis of key American documents, which define the goals and objectives of U.S. information policy towards Russia. Special attention is paid to the tools used by Moscow as retaliation.
