- Abstract
- In the article the authors analyze current U.S. fighting against Islamite terrorist organization ISIL in a very contradictory region - Middle East, and study ideological disunity between Democrats and Republicans in this sphere. Obvious inefficiency of the Obama counterterrorist strategy is emphasized. They also consider the beginning of Russian involvement in an air war against terrorists in Syria and argue that at the moment it is quite possible to arrange minimal necessary interaction between Moscow and Washington for the sake of parallel and simultaneous fight against terror.
