- Abstract
- The author of this article is looking for the answer to the question, whether the imbalances in the American economy are the sign of massive downturn of global economy. The analysis conducted by the author leads him to the conclusion that in order to strengthen the global economy resilience to various shocks the monetary authorities should continue structural reforms to increase the flexibility of labor markets, to fight the monopolization of goods’ and services’ markets and to stimulate the R&D.
