Abstract
Contemporary TV plays first-rate role in facilitating the interaction of different social groups, political institutions and individuals in their efforts to take and use power for the realization of their interests. Modern technologies allow the TV to address both the mass audiences representing every society strata and selected targeted audiences, and to effectively exploit the benefits of the audio and visual information synthesis to influence the Americans.
