- Abstract
- The article describes the Russian Engineering Society of Los Angeles, one of the most prominent public organizations founded by the Russians in America. Based on numerous examples of the Society's activity during the fifty years of its existence the contribution of Russian engineers into the U.S. industry, science, machinery, charity, education and other fields has been analyzed.
