- Abstract
This monograph examines the position of trade unions on the issue of reforming of labor legislation in the United States in 1945-1948. The author analyzes the attitude of the trade unions to the expansion of state control over the labor movement. The areas and the nature of the struggle of trade unions in protection of the "New Deal" labor legislation are examined, as well as the role of state regulation in weakening of the labor movement in the United States.
