Abstract
In the article the author compares pre-election priorities of a new American president Donald Trump with his real contradictory steps in foreign policy sphere. He also analyses Trump's conflicting relations with Washington's political bureaucratic elite, mainstream liberal mass media of the USA, myth about alleged collusion of the Trump's team with Kremlin during the election campaign, unsuccessful investigations, growing impeachment threat. The author thinks, unless this myth is dispelled with Trump's reasonable behaviour, it is impossible to expect serious improvement of Russian-American relations.
Keywords
myth of the “Russian track”, pre-election priorities, Washington’s elite, unprecedented investigations, conflict with liberal mass media, brave president, possibility of impeachment
