- Abstract
- In the article the author on the basis of critical analysis of the well known American scholar Joseph Nye’s views considers modern problems of the USA and Russia and their changing roles in the world. It is argued that the role of America is decreasing while influence of Russia and China is growing. The author also argues that Russia may obtain fair and equal relations with the United State just by coercion through peaceful means, for example using peculiarities of American federalism.
