- Abstract
- The phenomenon of pain and associated painful behavior is analyzed. Pain is considered systemically, the nature and various aspects of its manifestations are identified, its causes and conditions of relief are revealed, peoples attitude toward it and its meaning in the life of individual and society are described. The reasoning is supplemented by the results of the empirical sociological research conducted by the author.
