Abstract

The paper shows that social and humanitarian cognition taken as scientific one is inherently integrated into philosophy and art. According to the author’s view, integrity of science, philosophy and art determines the essence of specific character of social sciences and humanities. Philosophy is an integral part of social sciences and humanities as a method of ascending from abstract to concrete which is a modification of philosophic dialectical method. Art together with philosophy and science forms social and humanitarian cognition as a poetic (in a broad sense) genre of art.
